Are you looking for calligraphy, bullet journal, or creative planning classes in Minnesota and other areas? Are you looking for a speaker at your next event about creativity, perfectionism, personal leadership, or self care?
For years, I’ve been working as a curriculum writer and teacher, always learning about how to better create spaces for students’ process. Teaching is something I love to do. My belief is that we can all learn anything if we had the right space to do it – so I create those spaces in my workshops.
My workshops and classes have a mix of demonstration and instruction, practice time, some individual attention, jokes, and hopefully some laughter. I care most about holding a casual atmosphere that invites questions, experimentation, play, and for participants to get what they want out of the time together. At the heart, I want people to feel like creative planning and calligraphy are skills they can actually do.
Through these classes I tend to infuse messages around self-care, personal leadership, writing your own story, empowerment, and creativity. I find that planning, bullet journaling, and calligraphy are amazing ways to learn about ourselves, and it’s fun for me to bring t2hose elements into our time together. These are topics I care deeply about, and if you already follow my #realtalk captions on my Instagram feed, you have a sense of what I bring as an engaging and dynamic public speaker as well.
I teach classes through a variety of venues, as well as individual lessons and private classes. Just ask!
What the students are saying…

Booking Classes, Lessons, and Workshops
Looking for fun online classes or workshops? Having taught groups between 1-300 people, I can tailor my lessons for whatever you or the group needs. With a strong comfort on Zoom, I pride myself on creating meaningful experiences online and in person (when it is safe to do so) where people can engage in a lot of different ways. From girl’s weekends, to college student programming, student organization events, individual lessons, lunch & learns, and conference workshops, I love working with people to design just the right event for your group.
Some examples of past private workshops:
- Watercolor & Handlettering for college students (one hour Zoom session, supply packs provided by the org, first half practicing watercolor and then hand lettering techniques)
- Handlettering in your planner (one hour Zoom session, easily accessible to anyone who has a pen and paper)
