My August Bullet Journal Setup

Crazy to believe it but this marks about a YEAR of me blogging about the bullet journal and hand lettering. I started this endeavor a year ago as a way to add my voice to a budding bullet journal community through the #PlanWithMeChallenge. Over the next twelve months I could not have anticipated what would unfold for me. This community has given me so much and it’s time to celebrate with a giveaway!
I’ve learned so much about not only the community but myself as well. There were things I NEVER imagined would be possible and day after day it slowly was. It only makes sense to go back to my roots for this giveaway – featuring Foxy Fix, May Designs, and JetPens. Once I settled on the traveler’s notebook system, I discovered and loved Foxy Notebook covers as an easy way to organize my chaos. What made you decide to start the bullet journal system?
Happy anniversary, and big congrats! Your blog is such a wealth of inspiration and knowledge! How much time/experimentation did it take for you to settle into your TN setup? I’m waiting on my first TN to arrive and hoping I can figure out my system before I get too deep into the next semester.
Found out about BuJo thru your page! Love all your layouts. My question for the extra entry is: I’m having trouble going back to my beginning page to mark my habit tracker. Any tips on how to make that not so difficult to remember?

Hi, Jessica! Happy anniversary! I really enjoy you videos on your monthly bujo set up. Lots of food for thought there that’s help me improve my own methods. One question I had- how did you establish a weekly planning routine to set up your entries, challenges, etc., every week/month. This is something I struggle with! I love using my bujo, but i am inconsistent about making time to set it up! Any advice would be appreciated 🙂

I’m so excited to hear you are opening a shop – something to look forward to for sure! I am definitely not new to list-making, but am somewhat new to the Bullet Journal concept. I absolutely love the idea of keeping everything in one place, but find I have so many things to keep track of that I fill pages up too quickly. I’m thinking I need to have a separate notebook for some of those longer-term lists. What do you think of that idea, does it take away from the efficiency of Bullet Journaling or make it harder to manage?

I started my Bullet Journal in April and then did nothing with it until July. I’m using an emptyish notebook I had lying around so I can experiment with different layouts and ideas before investing in something else. I love the covers for the traveler notebooks and the insert idea, but I am such a single book, no clutter kind of person. UGH! The torture of it all! Lol! Anyway, your name and website came up as one of THE ones to follow and your ideas are inspiring! Congratulations on ONE YEAR! Keep up the great work and keep the ideas coming!

Sometimes I get tired of having to draw out something else but I love Bujo so much that I keep it going.
