It’s incredible to think that just last May I started this Instagram account for fun, to get back in touch with some hobbies that I let slip away when I got focused on being a student and “real person”. Little did I know, it would become a community and such growth for me, and more humbling, that over 20 thousand awesome people would join me on this journey! You are amazing for that – I have so enjoyed connecting with you, responding to comments and emails, and getting to know so many of you.
To celebrate, I’ve partnered with Kuretake Zig to offer a giveaway. They are generously sponsoring some awesome items for a handlettering bundle, and I’ve added in some other goodies. I would like to see a tutorial of different flourishes you use while brush lettering. I struggle to make letters special and fancy. Haha.
I’d love to win and use a set of ZIG’s brushable dual tip pens. They come in such a great range of colors! I’ve only been working with black since I started with this hobby a few weeks ago.

I would love to use the brush pens to finally dip my toe in real hand lettering. I’ve being trying faux calligraphy but it’s time for the real thing! Lol.

I would love to see a tutorial on brush lettering for left-handers! I’m constantly struggling getting my letters how I want and usually smear them.

Good point! Lefties do have to do things a little differently – have you checked out @renmadecalligraphy and @piecescalligraphy and their lefty tips?

This is a really great giveaway package! I just started with my bujo this year and I’m very pleased with my activity. Also got some brush pens and started brush lettering. Supet-thrilled with that. Exciting start to a great year.

I haven’t actually tried brush lettering as I don’t have the proper tools for it, but I’ve seen you post daily on Instagram and wondered how in the world you’re able to pull off such amazing calligraphy and hand lettering! My writing is limited to pens, and still working on it. 😛 But you’ve been a great inspiration and valuable resource. I hope you keep that up as I can tell you genuinely enjoy doing it. It’s a lot more fun to see people working on tutorials knowing that they love what they do, and you’re definitely one of them.
Clean Color Real Brush from the Kuretake Product looks amazing! I’m a sucker for 3D artwork and the sample from 3 weeks ago is just eye candy. I work on Photoshop so a lot of my designs are digital. I’d love to try something new this time and be hands on with paper, pen, brushes, etc.

I would love, love, love to get my hands on the 12-set of brush pens. I’ve been dreaming of getting some ever since i started seeing all of your lovely video clips on Instagram.
I’d love any Zig pen to start with and the most basic of tutorial videos to help. I’d like to see video tutorials for children, since cursive and handwriting are no longer normally taught in school.
It’d be nice if you sold a beginner’s kit of different pens. Would make it easier for me to get started instead of looking for all the different pens myself!
